Last Friday Night by Katy Perry E-mail
Written by Administrator on Saturday, 17 September 2011 14:19

Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night" is a great song for the beginner to intermediate guitarist.  In the first part of the video I play it with a capo at the 4th fret and the chords are G, Em, Bm and A.  This is how I would try playing it if you are a beginner.  The second part of the video I play it using all bar chords B, A♭m, E♭m and the A chord.  The strumming pattern is very consistent but incorporates muting the strings which gives it a very percussive sound. If you want to try taking a solo over the song it is in the key of B.  Click here to view or print music
